The Codex Sinaiticus

Here is the website of the Codex Sinaiticus, the world's oldest surviving version of the Bible, now available online. As they describe it:

Differences Between Versions of the Book of Mormon

Yes, the Book of Mormon has different versions. I want to mention just a few thoughts on this subject. What I am referring to is the original Book of Mormon that Joseph Smith printed in 1830. A replica can be purchased from Amazon and other places.

About Me

One has to ask what kind of credentials does someone have when embarking on such a venture as to write commentary on the scriptures. I don't have special degrees or theological study. I'm a regular person who loves the scriptures and the truths they provide us. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, so my commentary will reflect that theology.

Get Back to Blogging About Scriptures

I'm going to give it a try. I created this blog nearly a year ago with that purpose. I'll give it another attempt.

Book of Mormon Commentary

The Book of Mormon is another testimony of Jesus Christ, Our Lord and Savior. Written by an ancient prophet named Mormon, it contains a compilation of the history and writings of Mormon's progenitors, from Nephi to Mormon's son, Moroni. These prophets add to the richness found in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the Good News of the Savior of the World. Jesus visits the people after his resurrection and imparts to them the teachings He imparted to the Jews at Jerusalem.
